Pennies for Patients

Pennies for Patients is a service learning, character education and philanthropy program that gives students a unique experience by making a difference through teamwork—working together to aid thousands of children and adults in the fight against blood cancers like leukemia. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society® (LLS) exists to find cures and ensure access to treatments for blood cancer patients. And, LLS is the world's largest voluntary health agency dedicated to the funding of cutting edge treatments for blood cancers.
SADD club members will be collecting donations during the lunch periods. If you have any spare change from lunch, or underneath the couch cushions toss it in the donation box. What's important is that it's collected!

Thank you!!

CALLING ALL SADD MEMBERS!!!!!
All students are invited and encouraged to join SADD!! Sign up now with Mrs. Pinajian on Thursday, September 15th in room 128 . Meetings are held monthly, Thursdays after school. The dates and times of the meetings are broadcasted on the school’s morning announcements.

What does SADD Club do?
SADD does all kinds of things: we create posters promoting a drug-free lifestyle, we create a human red ribbon on the football field, and sponsor “Drug-Free Fun Days” , where each day has an activity based upon a theme. We also run a food drive during Thanksgiving, and collect winter coats for those in need, along with many other things throughout the year.
